Chrystal Finlayson-Bowers, MS

 

Ms. Finlayson-Bowers holds M.S. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation.   She is a professional sports and fitness instructor with competitive spirit and extensive teaching experience. She possesses spirited optimism, self-discipline, and a work ethic that transcends the nine-to-five boundaries.

 

As an Adjunct Professor of Health, Physical Education and Recreation she created great awareness among students about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She has supported students in physical exercises in various sports programs. She also has formed good sports team and identified the talents of individual students.

 

As a Physical Education Instructor and Assistant Track Coach she taught students to understand the concept of dynamic warm-up exercises, static stretching, cooling down & hydration concerns in class sessions. She made the students aware about the importance of risk factors involved by insufficiently preparing the body with fuel sources for various tasks and performance and the importance of maintaining a proper range of motion through biomechanics. She has also instructed student-athletes on the different recreational sports, rules and regulations and how to effectively play the sport to be efficient learner.
